Saddle Up!  Sundays

Saddle Up!  Sundays will be the first Sunday of each month, October - March.  Both indoor and outdoor arenas will be open for riding from 2:00 - 5:00 with an admission cost of $10 per rider or $25 per family.  If weather does not allow use of the outdoor arena, barrels and poles will be offered from 5:00 - 6:00.  Trail obstacles will always be available in the indoor arena.  An optional fun Rider Challenge Event will be held each time starting at 4:00.  This will have an additional entry fee of $5 per rider, with 1st Place prizes in each age bracket:  12 & U, 13-18, 19 & Over, and Green Horse.  Call for more complete information.

Familiar Face Returns!

Trainer Jake Scott has returned to Honey Creek and we are glad to have him back in the barn!  Jake was our trainer approximately 3 years ago, before leaving to give some time to the professional rodeo circuit.  He roped and worked with some of the best ropers and horsemen,  where he continued to learn what it takes to get the most out of your horse in the best way for the horse and rider.  Jake is a # 7 header and #8 heeler.  

We are excited about our three year old out of AQHA Mulitiple World Champion With All Probability, "Ticket".  Jake will be training him for next year's Silver Classic Futurity. 

He is now accepting a limited number of young colts to start and greenbroke horses to finish in the heading and/or heeling.  Jake will be training horses using the roundpen, indoor arena, outdoor arena, miles of trailriding, the HotHeels, and steers. Both arenas have excellent footing.

Jake is also offering private or small group roping lessons.  These are available anytime during the week.  Call and chat with Jake as to how he can help you!
